TECHNOLOGY PIPELINE

ANIMAL PREPARATION

The VetroViz technology pipeline begins with specimen preparation and positioning in collaboration with veterinary professionals. Adherence to institutional protocols and animal welfare standards ensures the acquisition of high-quality anatomical datasets that form the foundation of accurate digital anatomy models.

IMAGE ACQUISITION

Advanced imaging technologies, including CT and MRI, capture high-resolution volumetric anatomical data with exceptional clarity and precision. Optimized imaging protocols enable the visualization of complex anatomical structures while preserving anatomical fidelity.

DICOM PROCESSING

Imaging datasets undergo quality assessment, preprocessing, standardization, and validation to ensure consistency and accuracy. The pipeline includes digital resampling, image registration, intensity normalization, masking, and artifact reduction — resulting in a clean foundation for high-fidelity veterinary anatomy models.

ANATOMICAL SEGMENTATION

Veterinary anatomists, radiologists, and 3D segmentation specialists convert flat cross-sectional images into dynamic 3D anatomical models. Every organ, muscle, bone, vessel, nerve, and soft tissue is carefully delineated to preserve anatomical accuracy and species-specific morphology.

3D RECONSTRUCTION

The segmented structures are reconstructed into anatomically accurate three-dimensional models by converting traced boundaries into digital meshes. Each model is refined to maintain realistic morphology, spatial relationships, and fine anatomical details — resulting in a complete digital representation of the specimen.

INTERACTIVE VISUALIZATION

The finalized 3D anatomical models are optimized for seamless real-time visualization and interaction. Users can rotate, zoom, isolate, hide, annotate, adjust transparency, and explore structures individually or as integrated anatomical systems — supporting veterinary education, clinical training, surgical planning, and research.
