Navin is an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur with over 18 years of expertise in deep tech and product development, specializing in medical simulation technologies, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), gesture recognition, machine vision, IoT, computer vision, and AI/ML.
As the Co-founder and CTO of Immersive Labz, he has led product development since its inception, driving innovation in medical simulation. His pioneering ideas have resulted in multiple patent filings and research publications in virtual dissection technology. He currently heads R&D, manufacturing, and production, ensuring that Immersive Labz remains at the forefront of the industry. His relentless pursuit of excellence has led to the creation of the world’s most advanced virtual dissection table.
Before Immersive Labz, he co-founded Navtek Solutions, delivering cutting-edge AR/VR, AI/ML, and IoT solutions to global companies such as Bosch, Mercedes, Abbott, Huawei, Schindler, Cipla, Dr. Reddy’s, and Star Sports. A recognized expert in AR/VR, he has been a key figure in shaping the Indian deep-tech landscape since its early days.
In 2013, he joined the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Maryland, where he architected highly interactive web-based 3D medical visualizers. His expertise in advanced imaging, computer graphics, and data visualization helped doctors and scientists convert complex medical data into intuitive, interactive, and precise visual models.
Earlier, in 2009, he led Machine Vision R&D at ACG Worldwide, where he played a crucial role in establishing its Automated Inspection division for pharmaceutical products. His expertise in deep learning, object detection, image recognition, and autonomous systems led to groundbreaking machine vision inspection solutions, widely adopted by pharmaceutical manufacturers in India and abroad.
He is also a mentor to startups and tech enthusiasts, helping young innovators shape their ideas into viable products.
